| Tick tock goes the clock // And what now shall we play? |
Like any person, I had a normal childhood. One where I could run around like an idiot for no reason. One where I didn't care what other people thought about me. One where I was free to do anything. But freedom is sometimes underestimated. I mean, even though I had a good life, I was still trapped by my unforgiving parents. They had strict rules about who I played with, what times I had to leave and/or come home from school. They even decided who my friends were. No child should have to live like that. Not ever. If I had stayed, would they have controlled the rest of my life? I'm sure they would have. | Tick tock goes the clock // Now summer’s gone away? | | Tick tock goes the clock // And what then shall we see? | | Tick tock goes the clock // That thou shalt marry me. | | Tick tock goes the clock // And all the years they fly. | It's been a long time since I left, but I never want to go back. Ever. My life now is the best it's ever been. I enjoy my summer's here in the lands of the unknown. | Tick tock and all too soon // You and I must die | | Tick tock goes the clock // We laughed at fate and mourned her. | | Tick tock goes the clock // Even for the Doctor | | Tick tock goes the clock // He cradled her and he rocked her. | | Tick tock goes the clock // Even for the Doctor… | |
